Harley Biker Week Draws to a Close

Harley Biker Week Draws to a Close

The much-debated Harley Week has come and gone, and another summer is beginning in Myrtle Beach.  This year we’ve got some new attractions – the biggest being the new Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.  In an effort to bring families back during the month of May, the city is also creating several festivals and pumping out the television commercials in the surrounding states.  In the Piedmont section of North Carolina, there’s a Myrtle Beach commercial on about every 30 minutes.

And it seems to be working!  Myrtle Beach condo rentals are doing great for the year.  Vacationers are looking for more bargains this year, and we are providing some great deals on our condos.  If you’ve found your way here, be sure and check out our best condo deals and sign up for our vacation newsletter so we can let you know when we decide on last minute specials.

Come and see the NEW Myrtle Beach.  Every year it gets better.  We’ve got new restaurants on every block, including all the best chains such as Outback and Sticky Fingers.  There’s a brand new Thai restaurant on the bypass called Indos with all types of Asian dishes from sushi to Chinese to Japanese Steakhouse fare.  Our best old standards like Aspen Grille and Flamingos are still here, too.

Myrtle Beach Boardwalk At Night

After years of preparation, hard-work and dedication, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade opened to a roaring crowd who were treated with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by performances by The Embers, followed by additional free performances by Jim Quick & Coastline, Billy Scott & The Party Prophets, Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs, Mark Roberts & The Breeze, The Coasters, The Catalinas and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer,  and Ben E. King. Beginning at 2nd Avenue North and ending at 14th Avenue North, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade enhances the overall experience of the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand.

With plenty of condo rentals surrounding the new Boardwalk, the luxury of having a 1.2 mile stretch of Boardwalk is right at your doorstep.  The ribbon cutting ceremony is just one of the many events scheduled this summer.  Be sure to check out the Myrtle Beach chamber of commerce to find out more about all the great festivals and events throughout the year.

P.S. Just so you are not confused, Boardwalk Resort in Myrtle Beach is located near 23rd Avenue.
