Rental Policies
RECEPTION CENTER FOR CHECK IN
The CondoLux of Myrtle Beach office is located at 1240 21st Avenue North Suite 104 in Myrtle Beach. Take note of the green avenue markers at each stop light. Traveling north on Hwy 17, make a left at 21st Ave North. Traveling south on Hwy 17, or Hwy 9 to 17, take a right on 21st Ave North. Traveling south on Hwy 501, exit onto Hwy 17 Bypass North and turn right on 21st Ave North. If you are lost and traveling during open office hours, please stop and call us at 866-243-6111 for directions. Click here to view this location on Google Maps. Check in is after 3 p.m.
PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT POLICY
Condo Rentals: A down payment of $500 is required for summer reservations, i.e., June, July, and August. A $300 down payment is required for off-season reservations (all other months). A down payment of $100 is required from each golfer per golf package. Down payments are due within 7 days of making reservations by personal check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Discover. If payment is made by credit card, you must present same credit card at check in for verification. Regardless of how payment is made, all reservations require a valid credit card number on file to be presented at check in to ensure key return and damage security. Guests without credit card are required to give a cash security deposit of $300 at check in. Final payments are due 30 days prior to arrival — we accept personal, certified, cashiers checks, or credit card only for final payment.
Home Rentals: A down payment of 30 percent is required for all home rentals all seasons and is due within 10 days of making the reservation. We accept personal checks, money order, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Discover. If payment is made by credit card, you must present same credit card at check in for verification. Regardless of how payment is made, all reservations require a valid credit card number on file and presented at check in to ensure key return and damage security. Guests without credit card are required to give a cash security deposit of $500 at check in. Final payments are due 30 days prior to arrival — we accept personal, certified, cashiers checks, or credit card only for final payment.
MINIMUM STAY POLICY
Condo Rentals: Minimum stay of 5 nights is required for June, August and holiday weeks with check in Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. All July rentals require a 7 night stay, Saturday to Saturday. All other months, minimum stay of 4 nights is required.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you choose not to purchase travel insurance, a full refund, less a $100 administrative fee, is given only if the property is re-rented and if the cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel with less than 30 days until your arrival date, all money is forfeited.
HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES
Departure cleaning and linen rental (for baths and beds) are included in all reservations with the exception of winter monthly rentals. Additional housekeeping packages (3-day minimum) may be purchased at the following rates: 1 bedroom/$20 per day; 2 bedrooms/$30 per day; 3 bedrooms/$40 per day; 4 bedrooms/$50 per day; more than 4 bedrooms/$75 per day.
DEPATURE CLEAN, LINENS & MAID SERVICE
LINENS
Free sofa linens provided at office. Linen fees are required and included in your price. They are based on the number of bedrooms.
1br: $45, 2br: $55, 3br: $65, 4br: $75, 5br: $85, 6br: $95, 7br: $105, 8br: $125. Linens for the beds include sheets, pillow cases, blankets and comforters. We also provide washcloths and towels for the bathrooms, but not hand towels . Also, we do not provide kitchen towels or beach towels. Each unit has a starter of dish soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, and small hand soap.
DEPARTURE CLEANING MAID SERVICE
Departure clean is included in all weekly reservations. Condominiums that are left in excessively dirty condition can be assessed an additional $200 cleaning fee, which is determined by the housekeeping department. Renters are responsible for leaving kitchens in acceptably clean condition. All used kitchen items (ex. pots, pans, plate, utensils) must be placed in the dishwasher and turned on prior to departure.
MONTHLY RENTALS
Specified properties may be rented during the off-season from October until March. Additional surcharges are added to the month rate in October and March. We rent units on a per month basis in December and January. However, you must rent October and November together, or February and March together for a two-month stay.
STUDENTS
No Student rentals – Sorry! CondoLux of Myrtle Beach reserves the right to rent to adults aged 25 years or more.
PETS
Absolutely no pets of any kind permitted. Violation will be a condition for eviction.
SMOKING
CondoLux of Myrtle Beach properties are considered non-smoking—smoking permitted out doors only.
OFFICE HOURS
The CondoLux of Myrtle Beach office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am until 5:30 pm; Saturday 9 am until 5 pm; and Sunday, 9 am until 3 pm.
